When we decided to sell our home my wife and I enlisted Suzette Hubbell to be our agent. Suzette did all the paperwork in a timely, accurate manner. She also helped us price our home. Then she began to market the home agrresively. It appeared on TV, Facebook and in print magazines. She conducted an open house tour every third weekend until the home sold. Suzette kept a record of all open house visitors and contacted them when adjusted the asking price. On one open house weekend she spied a couple walking who lived in the neighborhood and convinced them to take a look at the home. They liked the home. After representing us in the price negotiations a selling price was agreed upon. Now it was time to get the home inspection performed. She represented us in that process as well.. They ended up buying the home a short time later. The closing took place without a hitch. We showed up to sign the papers and collect a check. Suzette did all the rest. My wife and I people of faith. It was very encouraging to know that she met with another woman and they prayed regularly for our home to sell. The experience of selling our home was a pleasant one, all because of Suzette. She did it all, from listing, marketing and showing or home. She even found the buyer! Suzette kept us abreast all that happened from the first day to the final one. Working with Suzette to buy our first home together was truly the best experience we could have hoped for. Suzette epitomizes what it means to go above and beyond for a client. We were house hunting from out of state, which added a level of complexity to the process. We had just a few days in New Orleans to see homes in person, and we were on pretty strict time table as we had a specific deadline to be back in NOLA. Being in our mid 30's and newly married with no children meant that location was of the utmost importance to us in our search. Being in Uptown (at a pricepoint we could afford) near to all our favorite bars, eateries, shops, and parks was the priority. Suzette's market-knowledge and preparation made this all a reality for us... and FAST!With Suzette's guidance, we bought an amazing reno with tons of the New Orleans charm we were seeking. She walked us through every step of the process and explained it all to us in a way that made sense. She filled in for us at the inspection when we could not be there, as well as negotiated us through a slight bidding war. By the time the closing came, she had arranged for us to sign all the paperwork remotely since we were still out of state. Suzette was firm with the seller during negotiations and inspection, and had our new home move-in-ready by our strict deadline . As we worked long weeks 700 miles away, Sue's ability to communicate with everyone involved meant everything to us. Suzette became our rock!Looking back on it, we couldn't believe how easy Sue made everything for us and we both agreed that no other realtor could have delivered for us the way she did. Not only did she make it as easy as possible for us, but more than that- we just didn't have to worry. I cannot say enough good things about working with Suzette, and I can assure you that we will work exclusively with her in the future. She's simply the best.
